Get startedNew accounts start with 20 free credits, which is a couple of photo swaps. Larger packs carry a lower price per credit. Payment is in cryptocurrency through a hosted checkout page — see the refund policy for what that means in practice.
A photo is flat-rated. A video is priced from two things the browser measures before anything is uploaded: how long the clip is, and how large the frame is. There are five bands and no arithmetic to do — the app shows you the band and the exact number of credits the moment you pick a file, and again before you press the button.
The detail enhancer is a second model run over every face in every frame. It costs more because it does more work, not as an upsell, and it is off unless you turn it on.
Credits are held when a run starts and settled when it finishes. The hold is a ceiling: settlement can only ever refund the difference between what was quoted and what the run actually took, never charge above it. You cannot be billed more than the number you approved.
A run that fails is refunded in full, automatically, without anyone having to ask. So is a run that never starts.
Every credit movement — the signup grant, a purchase, a hold, a settlement, a refund — is written to a ledger you can read in the app under Credits.
